Angel Face

This is one of my favourite roses which is called Angel Face. The petals are like curly layers and it is very fragrant. The colors are actually more to purple pink in the colder climate whereas in tropical climate it is more to pink. The petals  are quite fragile which is the norm for fragrant roses species and it lasted  few days only.

Koster

This roses is called Koster, it's white in color but if you put it under full sun without shade the color will be pinkish. The unique features of this rose is its shape which is rounded and the size is small but in clusters. The plant itself is bushy about 1 1/2 feet in height. Very showy when bloomed to the max and I just loved looking at its beauty. There are other colors as well such as the Margo Koster which is red & Dick Koster which is orangy. I am looking forward to add these two colors in my collection soon.

This is one of my roses collection and they're really beautiful to look at. Thanks to good rosecare & rosefood products I've managed to grow these and enjoyed the blooms. Some are really fragrant, while some are mild. Overall the petals of each differs according to their spesies.

Roses

This blog is a summary of my experience in growing plants especially roses which I have picked up since visiting Floria 2011 in Putrajaya and the start of my interest in growing roses which I had initially thought not possible to grow in our hot weather.
From the visit in Floria, I had the chance to attend the workshop on growing roses by my now "sifu" Pn Rohani Bujang who is ever willing to share her knowledge on the success of growing roses. I'm amazed by the beautiful and big blooms at her exhibition booth and immediately bought some of the roses there. Prior to this I had joined a MRS group  in Facebook and learnt alot of tips from them. Thus my interest in growing roses grew. I just had to get hold of those beautiful roses.

From a pot or two of old roses my collection grew when i succeeded in growing them. Growing roses is like a healthy therapy for me too as I enjoyed caring and looking at the beautiful blooms which is of many different sizes and shapes and colors.

This is one of my favourite roses which is a hybrid paradise (which we fondly called Purple Delite), it's a 2 toned colored of purple and pink, very cuppy petals and many layers.
